CLS Spa secured a new collaboration with Skilled Group during the Focus Day of Automation, which was held on May 30th and 31st, at the new CLS Tuscany facilities, located in Altopascio (Lucca).
CLS iMation is the new business unit of CLS Spa, focusing on the Intelligence Solutions for Logistics Automation. At the inauguration event the Skilled LGV were introduced and presented to the partecipants during an effective DEMO.

The Skilled LGV 1400 (Laser Guided Vehicle) is an automatic fork lift truck which allows complete “end of line” automation. It can be equipped with forks which can be for a single pallet/double pallets or even for pallets that must be lifted upto 10 mts in a warehouse. Other tools can be clamps to pick up rolls or conveyors to pick-up unitized products etc. The Skilled LGVs can fit in any area or industry where a fork-truck is used, with cost savings and significant improvements in production management.
CLS is an Italian company focusing on the rent, sales and assistance of forklifts and logistics solutions. It has recently established a new business unit focusing on intelligent solutions for logistics automation, in which the company has invested and is continuing to invest, linked to the automation and to the digitalization of maintenance processes.
CLS iMation is the name that identifies the new business unit: it is a pool of engineers specialised on these subjects with high-level logistical and digital skills. The head of the new team is Ing. Michele Calabrese, CLS Marketing and Product Manager.
